First stop on the way back home was Yosemite! At first it was a little disapointing because we were hoping the crowds would be a bit smaller, but it was pretty populated in the valley....so we went on a 3 day hike and it was awesomeee. First day was 6 miles straight up to the top of the canyon.
It was pretty overcast the whole day we were hiking up with clouds moving in, moving out, raining, wind....but it made the entire valley look beautiful!!
Our campsite was right on the rim of the cayon and we had no idea till the clouds moved out just in time for the sun to set. Then the clouds moved back in and everything around us turned pink! I couldn't quite capture the pinkness in the photo. It was a bit less orange and all around us.
There's the smile I was looking for!
